Combining classic international dishes with a Thai influence, Yee Rah Liverpool and their selection of Wok dishes are inspired by travel across Asia and the most loved grills from around the world!
We were invited down to sample the new menu and experience the Thai dining concept, in the newly refurbished Yee Rah on The Liverpool One Terrace.
When we arrived at the restaurant we where greeted by the most friendly waitress, who instantly made us feel very welcome. With a relaxed ambiance, the venue is both light and airy. The decor is absolutely fabulous, with a contemporary Asian feel and sleek furnishings throughout.
Cocktails
After a long day in the office, we were eager to taste some of the amazing cocktails. As a self confessed ‘Mojito connoisseur’, I had to sample the Strawberry and Peach recipe on the menu and it did not disappoint! With Havana, Archers, strawberry and peach purees and all the usual fresh ingredients, topped with lemonade, this was one of the best that I have tried!
With 2-4-1 cocktails Sunday to Friday and an ideally placed sun terrace, this is the perfect location for after work drinks or chilling on a Sunday afternoon.
The Food
In need of some comfort food, we opted for the Thai Currys on offer. The Panang Curry, with its famous sweet and spicy thai flavours if made using red curry and kaffir leaves. With creamy coconut milk, red chilli and green beans, served with jasmine rice – to die for!
No Thai dining experience is complete without deep fried crispy spring rolls and prawn crackers, so obs we ordered some of them too! Along with some of the best deep fried Halloumi that I have ever tasted, served with all the dipping sauce.
And to finish… with crepes, waffles and double trouble chocolate cake on offer, it was an impossible task trying to chose a dessert – I literally wanted to order everything on the menu. But as the portion sizes are so big, we decided to split the Banana Fritters (which were highly recommended by our lovely waitress), they were deep fried banana served with golden syrup and toasted sesame seeds – HEAVEN!
All of the food was cooked to absolute perfection and the waiting staff were very attentive, especially considering it was so busy inside.
Whether your grabbing a bite to eat before a night out or spending time with family, Yee Rah’s Terrace in Liverpool One is the perfect location! If you are shopping in Liverpool 1, feeling hungry and like Asian food then this is the place to go, great food in nice clean restaurant and pleasant environment.
