Sunscreen, its something we know we should be using daily but how many of us do? We all know we should be protecting our skin from harmful rays of the sun, but how many of us protect our skin daily? I for one will hold my hands up to say it is not something I have been using on the regular, unless of course I am on holiday, where I slap it on every hour – so enter: Epionce Daily Shield Lotion Tinted SPF 50
Two facts for you.
Sunscreen is not just for 30-degree heat.
And It is never too late to start caring more for your skin.
Wearing sunscreen can protect you from exposure from UVA and UVB rays. Invisible rays that can burn the skin and ultimately, they can lead to skin cancer. Regardless of the weather, these rays are super powerful so even on the cloudiest winter day it is still just as important to add a sunscreen into your skincare regime.
Epionce Daily Shield Lotion Tinted SPF 50 Review
So, on that note, for the last month I have used the Daily Shield tinted lotion with an SPF 50 from Epionce.
Created using ingredients which are paraben and fragrance free, Episciences integrates 20+ years of research into the development of a highly effective dermatological product line named ‘Epionce’ which has been voted the best anti-ageing skincare line in the US.
For the most part I have used this product as a primer underneath my make-up.
However, I have also trialled using this product as a tinted moisturiser when I haven’t wanted to overload my face. For someone who usually likes a lot of coverage, I have been extremely impressed. I think this would be the perfect product when on holiday or in the summer months.
As well as providing SPF protection this versatile product has helped to even out my skin tone leaving a natural looking healthy glow.
So, what are the pros?
Not only does this product sink straight into the skin, the consistency of the product means a little goes a long way, and with the price point being at the higher end of what I would normally spend on skincare I do think you get a lot of product for your money. Other benefits include; one shade which blends flawlessly for most skin types and tones, as well as being water resistant and ideal for sensitive skin.
The cons?
I would probably say the only con for me would be the price. At £45 for a 50ml bottle it would be more than I would usually spend.
However, as I have gotten older, I have started to realise how important it is to be looking after my skin, so in the grand scheme of things I would say £45 would be a small price to pay knowing you’re treating your skin to the ultimate protection.
