Last night I was invited to the VIP relaunch of Bistro Franc on Hanover Street in Liverpool. The venue has undergone a transformation and they were, rightly so, keen to show off their hard work.
Situated on the edge of Liverpool One it is in a great location and the décor of the building is beautiful. We are so lucky in Liverpool to have a lot of wonderful architecture in and around the city and Bistro Franc is up there with one of the best.
Over two storeys the restaurant has a classic rustic French theme and with the lovely sunshine we have been experiencing lately it really felt like I was on holiday. With lots of different areas to the restaurant with wooden chairs and tables, greenery and exposed brickwork it really does have an authentic French ambience.
Bistro Franc, Liverpool: What to expect
This was my first time at Bistro Franc, and I was not disappointed. Welcomed in by attentive staff and two choices of drinks on arrival along with some yummy canapes the atmosphere was relaxed and the perfect wind down after a day’s work.
On the second floor there was some live music being played which really added to the mood, I’m not sure if this is a regular thing but I personally think it is a great addition to dining.
With lots of different menus on offer including lunch menus, pre theatre options and a la carte menus, the warm and relaxed environment would definitely cater for any occasion. They even offer a Sunday ‘Wine and Dine’ offer which is two courses and a bottle of wine for less than £20 per head.
For me, Bistro franc is the perfect place to dine after a day’s shopping or an after work treat and I will be returning.
Thank you to all the team at Bistro Franc Liverpool for a fantastic evening.
