Jane Iredale BB cream: The Glow Time Review

As we all know, I am a full coverage foundation kind of girl and I am pretty set on which foundations I like to use. So, when I received The Glow Time Jane Iredale BB cream I was intrigued to see how this would fare for me and whether it would be a product I would consider swapping too, especially in these summer months.

So, first things first I will give you all the details you need to know.

Jane Iredale BB cream

Jane Iredale BB cream is famously full coverage; but being a BB cream, this is slightly lighter on the skin and generally these creams are used to even out skin tone more than a foundation would. With added SPF 25 (always a bonus) and water resistant this is a product that is not shy about offering the goods us girls are looking for.

Promising to minimize pores and help to disguise fine lines and wrinkles whilst being hypoallergenic, sensitivity tested and available in a whole host of shades… this promises a lot.

So how did The Glow Time by Jane Iredale fare for me?

I was extremely impressed with this product.

Jane Iredale BB cream review

A little goes along way and I noticed immediately as I added to my skin this product was going to deliver. Rich and moisturising it instantly covers any imperfections and blemishes, as you can see from my before picture, my skin was a little red in parts with the added bonus of a ‘one too many prosecco at the weekend’ spots, all of which was covered with one application.

I used my foundation buffing brush to apply into my skin which it did easily, however it was a little too glowy for my liking (I like my make up a little matte) so I simply used a beauty blender sponge to just dab the foundation further into my skin.

And wow, I absolutely loved the final look.

Jane Iredale BB cream review

Overall Jane Iredale BB cream leaves your skin feeling luminous and glowing, almost like you are wearing nothing on your skin. It feels comfortable and leaves your skin feeling able to breathe. I was keen to see whether this would last on my skin all day without rubbing off or going patchy. And I was pleasantly surprised, eight hours of eating, drinking and continuously touching my face (I am one of those people) and it did not budge, nor did it go cakey or dry looking. Completely the opposite in fact; my skin felt smooth and nourished.

If, however you have oily skin, I would recommend adding a little setting powder on top of this product, preferably a mineral powder just to keep it in place on your skin.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this product and will definitely be using Jane Iredale bb cream again in the future, it is a winner for all of us who like that ‘no makeup make up look’ or one to use on holiday with it being heat and water resistant .

**I used shade BB5 and this product was gifted to me.
