Beauty Products we’re loving this month: July

We all know I love a new product.

My wages haven’t even hit my bank account and I have an online basket full of new beauty products without even so much as breaking a sweat.

This month, I have been lucky to receive some new products to test and feedback on, so although I didn’t pay for these products my views are completely unbiased.

Lord and Berry Glitter pots £14.00

I have previously tried Lord and Berry lipsticks and have always been impressed with the products so I was intrigued to see how these little glitter pots would fare.

Okay, so I will be honest, they are fiddly. But glitter always is surely?

It took several attempts for me to get this glitter to stick and stay in place on top of my eyeshadow, I then realised that I needed to apply using some duo glue (false eyelash glue). Once I realised this and reapplied, I was impressed with the overall look. It is extremely glittery, which I loved.

Not only can these little pots be used on the eyes but if you’re off to a festival they go great in the hair and on the body.

One tip to remember; make sure you put some time aside to get the glitter off, because once it was applied it took an awful lot of time to remove. For £14 these pots are not cheap, but they’re long lasting and once you have the knack a little goes a long way!

I used the ‘Holo silver’ over the top of my eyeshadow base.

Sienna X Skin finish illuminating mist £14.99

Ideal for use on the face and body, an illuminating mist is probably not something you feel you need to add to your make up collection but believe me you do! I have tried many of these mists and have never found one like this. It is the dream product. Brightening your skin and making it glow immediately it is perfect to use when you have a tan or just simply to add that glowy sun kissed look to your skin.

I used this spray over my neck and shoulders, and it didn’t streak or stain and wasn’t sticky once applied. It left my skin feeling really moisturised and it smelt like holidays.

Once sprayed I used a large make up brush just to ensure the product was buffed directly into my skin. I also lightly spritzed over my face to set my makeup.

So, if you’re looking for a glow this summer I would 100% recommend trying this product.

Seksy Entice fragrance £40.00 for 100ml

I always think perfume is quite a personal preference, I myself prefer a strong yet sweet smelling perfume. This new fragrance from Seksy is just that. Bursting with mandarin, apricot and blackberries and notes of orange, Jasmin and rose blossom this fragrance is definitely a bit of me.

I absolutely loved this perfume on first application; however, I have to say the scent doesn’t really last and I did have to reapply halfway through the day.

The positives? This is an ideal perfume for young girls as it comes in a pretty bottle with a Swarovski crystal attached, so will look particularly pretty on your dressing table and is perfect if you are a fan of the Britney/Ariana Grande type perfumes.

The only negative for me was it didn’t last as long as I would have hoped.

xx
