To be invited to one of the gorgeous Allerton Road bars for a taste of the new food and drink menu is always right up my street! I was very excited, and the event certainly didn’t disappoint.
Bloom Bar & Bistro was jam-packed (in a good way!). We were greeted with a friendly manner and this continued all night. I felt like the staff were really smiley, chatty and going out of their way to give everyone a lovely experience. The owner and her daughter seemed so proud and were chatting to everyone and making sure everyone was having a great time. From looking around, everyone was. It was a great crowd.

The décor was striking with the colours, flowers and wall art. Even the bathroom was stunning with big, chunky, silver mirrors. Want!
We had samples from the extensive menu. From king prawns to chunky chips, everything was delicious. There’s a great range too from A La Carte, to small plates and a lunch time menu. And let’s not forget desserts!
My face was filled with pure delight when one of the staff was dishing out cheesecake samples! It was white chocolate cheesecake and you simply must go and try it. Cupcakes were also on offer for the launch, so I was happy and in sugar heaven!
The drinks were delicious too, with plenty of choice. For the first time ever, I tried an elderflower bellini. I was impressed! Even if you don’t fancy a meal, then this is a great place to go for a drink. Apparently, the bar is open until late every day.
There were two singers providing entertainment which again, just added to the experience and made it a fab night.
I do think Allerton Road is getting better and better with a great choice of bars and restaurants and I would definitely go back to Bloom Bar and Bistro.
