When it comes to burgers, Liverpool’s Almost Famous really is the godfather. The stacks are renowned across the city, putting Almost Famous firmly at the forefront of the many amazing burger restaurants in Liverpool. But… BUT.. they’ve really excelled themselves when it comes to this year’s Christmas offering. Played a blinder. Knocked it out of the ball park.
So, stop what you’re doing and take a look at Almost Famous’ festive burger that, to be honest, might as well be a full Christmas dinner.
The brand-new “Son of a Nutcracker” festive burger consists of: a perfectly cooked cheeseburger (it’s got to be a little bit pink in the middle or we’re not interested), BBQ spiced sausage stuffing patty, buttermilk fried turkey goujons, festive cream slaw, bacon and cranberry jam, sweet JD cola BBQ sauce and brandy butter peppercorn mayo.
You thought we had finished? Fuck no. To finish the burger off, it’s topped with the ultimate in festive sausage rolls; made of flaky puff pastry, sausage stuffing, bacon cranberry jam, chorizo, cheddar and BBQ spice. Oh, and there’s a pig in a blanket on top of all that too.
But that’s not the only thing on the menu this Christmas at Almost Famous; their festive loaded fries aka “Gobble Gobble fries” are smothered with melted cheese, AFC gravy, buttered turkey, shoestring onions and ‘bacon bacon rain’. And you can completely ruin your diet with these bad boys for just a fiver – trust us, it’ll be worth it!
So, time for the details: you can order the festive burgers on their own (obviously) but also as part of a party package, including a choice of fries and a Christmas cocktail, beer or wine, for £22.50.
Or, if a group of you are going out, you will be able to order a slider package of mini burgers, bacon bacon fries and arrival cocktails from £9.50 per person.
