When I first read the story of Ameon, the science-led skincare brand I knew this would be a skincare range I would love to try. Created by founder Alina, after a breast cancer diagnosis at only 30 years old she spent 2 years developing 5 core products to help repair, nourish, and heal her fragile skin post chemotherapy.
Retreat Set
The ultimate skincare experience with the power of intense hydration, designed to nourish and plump all skin types. The product line looks to revitalize and rejuvenate your complexion. From dry to oily, sensitive to mature, this transformative journey unlocks the secrets of deep hydration, quenching your skin’s thirst and leaving it supple, radiant, and refreshed. Representing a clean beauty philosophy all ingredients go through key steps to ensure all are naturally derived.
With their current collection including 5 products, the team has created a 3 step ritual activated by their signature frozen essence.
I was lucky enough to try out their Retreat set which is activated by the supreme energy ice cubes, which are best for oily, irritated, or acne-prone skin. They also offer the radiance set which is perfect for dull and dehydrated skin.
What are the benefits of facial icing?
Loving skincare as much as I do, lately, I have seen a lot of talk about the benefits of using ice within your skincare routine. With benefits such as reducing redness and inflammation, tightening pores, and enhancing blood circulation there are actually many more advantages to the skin than I ever could have imagined!
AMEŌN Review
The Retreat set includes the Supreme Energy Ice cubes, not only do these prep the skin to absorb the serum and moisturizer but they also increase skin circulation and help tighten pores, soothe inflammation, and fill in wrinkles (yes please!!). The Supreme Energy ice cubes also offer a solution rich in antioxidants and nutrients that leave the skin feeling fresh, toned, and youthful. If you’re unsure how to use these ice cubes there is some helpful guidance via the website to ensure you get the most out of each one.
Step two is to apply a few drops of the Baby Buddha Calming serum which helps to reset the skin microbiome. This calming serum is designed to maintain balance and decrease damage from stress and pollution and contains a probiotic to strengthen the skin’s ability to defend itself from irritants and stressors. My skin although on the whole is great, if I’ve had a few late nights it can irritate my skin, this calming solution has really helped to maintain my skin balance. I also love how easy it is to sink into the skin leaving me feeling super soft and hydrated.
Step three is to apply the Holy Cream Diamond Moisturizer, my absolute favorite product of the three. Not only is this cream super lightweight on the skin it feels like such a treat to the skin upon application. Within a few days of use, I noticed improvements in my skin’s texture. Clean, lightweight, and powerful the Holy Cream immediately delivers vital moisture to the skin and enhances firmness for a supple, luminous, natural glow. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

An amazing product range, however, may not suit all budgets with prices ranging from £80.
