Arbonne skincare – is it as good as they say?

Arbonne skincare is one of those ranges I have heard of a lot. If your DM’s are open on Instagram you will have at some point been approached by an ambassador. But have you actually ever looked past those DM’s and looked into what the company offer?

I must admit I hadn’t until a few weeks ago, when I was lucky enough to be gifted three of their products from their sensitive skincare range named Super calm.

So, who are Arbonne?

Arbonne is a company with swiss roots that specializes in herbal based skincare and cosmetics. The company itself has been around for over 40 years and uses a network of consultants to sell their products worldwide.

Their products range from skincare, makeup right through to nutritional supplements.

The best bit?

All their products are 100% Vegan and cruelty free.

They believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and use only plant based ingredients in their products.

The Super Calm range is as you can imagine their product range targeted to those with more sensitive skin. Promising an improvement in both hydration and overall skin tone within 4 weeks I was intrigued to try these products for myself.

So, what did I get?

The Super calm Vegan Cleansing Milk, Skin Relief Tiger Blend Serum and their Tiger Blend Soothing Hydrator. These three products would cost you just under £100 so they are not cheap products and with this my expectations I must admit where quite high.

I do always preach about how important it is to look after your skin and invest in products that are the right type for your skincare needs, but to me that is not always going for the most expensive products.

However, after trialing the three Arbonne skincare products I feel conflicted because these are probably the best products I have used in a long time. And the results were almost instant.

Using the cleansing milk morning and evening to refresh and hydrate my skin this milky non foaming cleaner helps support the skins moisture barrier and leaves my skin feeling super soft and calm with any dryness or redness having disappeared within just a couple of days use. My skin also feels plumper and just looks more fresh.

I follow this up with the Skin relief serum which promises to help improve the skins texture and tone.

Easy to apply, this serum just sinks into your skin and feels so soft to touch. The only comment I would say about this serum it does tingle a little on my skin and I’m not too sure why as it has super natural ingredients. Its not an uncomfortable tingle at all and doesn’t last long.  A little goes a long way with this serum and you don’t need to overload the product on your skin to feel a positive effect.  

Best of all it leaves my skin feeling soothed and deeply hydrated.

Finishing my skincare regime with the Soothing hydrator, this lightweight moisturizer is my favourite product I have found in a long time. My skin has not looked this good in a long time, soft, hydrated, and clear from any breakouts I think this cream is well worth the investment.

Ideal if you have sensitive or an uneven skin tone, I would highly recommend trying out this moisturizer or if you really want to update your whole routine then invest in the three products.

You won’t be disappointed.

My overall thoughts:

These products are every bit as good as those Arbonne representatives have been telling us. Light and fresh without any heavy scent I would suggest the Super Calm range will work particularly well with those of us who have either sensitive or dry skin.

I will definitely be looking into what other products this range offers for my future skincare.
