Autumn fashion picks

Although it can sometimes feel like our Autumn starts in August thanks to the great British weather it only officially started at the end of September and I for one am HERE FOR IT.

Autumn is absolutely my favourite season, I love nothing more than crisp leaves, fluffy jumpers and pumpkin lattes.

But there is nothing I love more so than the fashion trends of Autumn.

From cosy knitted midi dresses to chunky knits and leather look dresses I have pulled together some of the key pieces to add to your capsule wardrobe this Autumn Winter.

Dark Skinny trousers

I opted for the Burgundy as a change from black. These trousers look and feel EXPENSIVE! Chunky Knits

Autumn wouldn’t be Autumn without a few chunky knits in the wardrobe. Opt for the oversized knit or extra layers for the ultimate 2021 look. And although the greys, creams and blacks are forever popular don’t be afraid to experiment with the brighter shades such as berry, green and mustard.

Team with jeans or leggings for that super cosy look.

Leather

My absolute favourite look this time of year is a pair of leather trousers, skirt or even a leather look dress paired with some tights and boots. I am obsessed with this timeless look year in and year out!

I’ve found the perfect leather look dress from George at Asda for less than £20, teamed with a polar neck jumper underneath this would be ideal Autumn Winter dress for those days back at the office.

Shirt dressing is also huge this season so don’t be afraid to add in a crisp white shirt under those dresses for a completely different look.

Midi dresses

I am obsessed with a midi dress and the good news is regardless of your height or shape there is a midi style out there to suit almost anyone! Midi style knitwear is huge this season and is that perfect weekend look. If you’re conscious of your tummy opt for waist detailing but don’t be afraid to rock those curves! Autumn doesn’t have to mean covering up.
