If there is ever a time to invest in some new makeup a new season is just that! Summer has long gone and the days of less is more makeup is a distant memory. We’re easing back into the fuller coverage Autumn makeup look to add some texture and colour to our skin.
A quick browse over on Instagram will have you covered with some Autumn makeup trends, whether it’s rocking the darker plum lipstick or adding those rusty oranges to the eyes there really is something to suit every skin type, and tone.
I’ve listed a few of some top trending Autumn makeup looks that will see you through the next few months.
Blush Blush Blush!
An effortless flushed glow is not just for summer, use peach and rosy tones across the cheeks and nose to wake up the face, perfect for any skin tone.
Berry lips
If you’re reluctant to try a statement red lip a rich berry shade may be the ideal solution to take you away from a classic nude lip. I love a deep burgundy on the lips but ensure you always line your lips first to stop the colour from bleeding onto the skin.
I love the Maybelline super stay lipstick in shade Raspberry (darker than it sounds!)
Subtle Smokes
I love a smokey eye especially in the colder months but if you are unsure whether you suit a full smokey eye opt for cooler matte taupe tones rather than silver and grey. It’s much easier to pull this look off, tied in with a nude lip this look is ideal to take you from day to night.
Brick Red
An absolute staple to have this Autumn I love a brick red lipstick, not as obvious or in your face as a cherry red. I love pairing this lip with dewy skin for the ultimate Autumn vibe.
My favourite is shade Chilli Matte from Mac Cosmetics.
Fox eyeliner
Eyeliner can be a little hit or miss but if you do love a flick without the heavy wing try lining the inner corners, winging out the corners but ensuring your then blurring with a dark eyeshadow onto the lashline for that super cute fox eye look that suits most eye shapes.
