The invention of the cleansing balm will forever be my favourite ever creation. Thinking back to the days of removing my makeup with a dry face wipe sends shivers down my spine. As a daily makeup wearer, I love a double cleanse to clean my face without drying it out.

Skin Proud, Face Melt cleansing balm – £12.95
This has taken over as my number one cleansing balm, not only is it budget friendly (which is needed when you use it every day) but you only need a small amount to melt off your makeup. A sorbet-like texture contains hyaluronic acid and a combination of oils to leave your skin clean and hydrated. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Clinique, Take the day off cleansing balm – £26.10
My OG cleansing balm in this huge tub lasts over a month and cleanses and nourishes the skin with only a tiny amount of product. Transforming from a rich balm into a silky oil I also use this as a mask if my skin is feeling dry. Nongreasy, it removes all makeup and SPF and helps protect against dryness.

Elemis, Pro-Collagen Cleansing balm – £46
An award-winning cleansing balm from Elemis which offers a 3-in1 transformative formula that starts as a nourishing balm before melting into oil and hydrating as milk. This is a pricier cleansing balm but if you are an Elemis fan I’m sure you will have tried and loved this product. With a blend of 9 essential oils, it reminds me of a product you would use at a spa and leaves your skin feeling super smooth and soft. If you’re looking for a higher-end cleansing balm I would highly recommend trying Elemis.

Ideal for those with sensitive skin it gently removes makeup and impurities. this purifying cleanser also helps to stop oil and makeup from clogging your pores and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and nourished.
