I feel like anyone who is interested in skincare in any shape or form will know all about collagen cream and how important it is to incorporate this into your regime as early on as possible.
What is collagen and what does it do for your skin?
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein, it acts as a building block for your tissues, cells, and organs. It also diminishes with age; your skin loses about 1 percent of its natural collagen each year. Meaning as we age you will notice a loss of volume and perkiness in your face especially.
Adding in collagen, whether it be via a supplement or in your skincare routine can help reduce fine lines, wrinkles and add the plumpness back into your skin, having used collagen for the last two years I can confirm it leaves your skin looking and feeling fabulous!
I was lucky enough to receive some new collagen cream products to try from Organza Natural Skincare which offers a unique line of eco-friendly vegan products that use the highest quality ingredients to transform skin. The founder of Organza, Hannah developed the range after suffering from problematic skin due to medication leaving her skin sensitive.
Not only are the products vegan, organic, and free from alcohol, toxins, and parabens, they promise to nourish the skin and strengthen the skin’s structure.
I tried out several collagen cream products over a 10-day period to see what I thought!
Silk cream £35.99
‘This versatile cream contains a mixture of 5 essential oils and vitamin E to lock in moisture, leaving skin luxuriously smooth’
This cream feels such a treat to the skin, it is super rich so a small amount goes a long way and within a couple of days I could see a difference in the texture of my skin, it feels super hydrated and much plumper.
I have tried a lot of different moisturizers before at various different price points and this is by far one of the best I have tried. It didn’t feel greasy at all and I actually felt like it was smoothing out any fine lines on the skin with each application.
The silk cream contains collagen and gives a natural boost whilst helping to repair any damage done to the skin. My skin can be a little sensitive sometimes, but as this is developed using all-natural ingredients it’s suitable for all skin types.
I also think this levels up as a perfect primer before makeup.
Creamy eye potion £33.59
This is probably my favourite eye cream I have ever tried! The natural alpha-lipoic acid encourages healthy cellular function and increases radiance.
Rich with vitamins A, B, C, and E it promises to soothe skin irritations, reduce puffiness and swelling. The organic ingredients soothe, cool, and treat dark circles.
It is dreamy! It’s so rich and hydrating that within a couple of days of using this product I was obsessed, and I know I will now be using this going forward as my eye cream. If you suffer from your under-eye makeup creasing I would highly recommend using this cream not only as skincare but also as an under-eye primer.
Overall, I am super impressed with these products, they are a dream to use if you’re looking to add some collagen and hydration to your skin if you are feeling like your skin is dry or dehydrated or you just want to switch things up I highly recommend!
They have a huge selection of different products for every skin type and need and you can shop now via their website or follow on Instagram @organzanaturalskincare
