Universally recognized as one of the world’s leading spa and skincare brands I don’t think I have ever been more excited to revamp my skincare routine than I have with ESPA.
With over 30 years of experience, the team at ESPA has created a personalized wellness experience that is known around the world. Established in 1992, ESPA was born from a passion for holistic well-being, and pure natural, and luxurious treatments.
Founded by Sue Harmsworth, a now renowned, highly influential spa authority began ESPA from the intimacy of her own kitchen. Not only are they recognized as one of the world’s leading spa and skincare brands ESPA’s vision has shaped the luxury spa industry.
If you’re looking for a luxury spa-style brand to bring home into your own bathroom ESPA is the one. Offering a range of products for the face and body you can truly experience the spa at-home feeling. Whether you’re under 25 wanting to start your skincare journey, or over 50 looking for some anti-aging skincare for more mature skin there is something for everyone. With a range of products to reduce blemishes, add hydration back to the skin, or just promote glowy, smooth skin finding the right products has never been easier.
For me, good skincare is key, and I am always looking to try out new products to hydrate and plump whilst tackling fine lines and wrinkles. As I’m in my 30’s I know that as each day goes by, I lose more and more collagen so for me, a good skincare routine has never been more important. And the earlier you start the better it is.
I’ve added some of my key products below and although these items have been gifted for review, each product has been trialed thoroughly for 2 weeks and all thoughts are my own.
Tri-Active Regenerating Calming Cica Cleansing Balm, £50.00
Comforting and soothing this balm melts away my makeup with just one application. It transforms from balm to oil and then oil to milk when activated with water. It’s ideal for sensitive skin and can reduce the appearance of redness. Containing bio-retinol this helps to improve the texture and tone of skin whilst the Phyto collagen helps to boost hydration back into the skin. Having tried a lot of cleansers this is by far the best I have tried, whereas some oil cleansers can feel as if they strip all the moisture this balm leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, soothed, and hydrated. Easy to use, just warm the balm between your fingertips before applying to the face, apply water to the skin and remove with a muslin cloth.
Tri-Active Lift and Firm Intensive Eye Serum, £59.00
Nourishing eye concentrates promise to smooth, brighten and firm the under-eye area.
If there is one thing going into my 30’s I knew I needed to incorporate an eye cream into my routine but have yet to find one, I was happy with. This eye serum is a concentrated and age-defying eye serum to smooth and soften. It also supports the delicate eye area and leaves you feeling nourished and brightened. After just a few days of consistent use, I could see a difference in my under-eye area including less puffiness and smoother around my fine lines. Gentle yet powerful for me this formula really works to hydrate the eye area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an eye serum that feels lightweight yet nourishing.
Tri-Active Lift and Firm Intensive Serum, £62.00
For best results use combined with the intensive eye serum this high potency concentrates tones and firms the skin. This age-defying concentrate helps to restore skin’s firmness, elasticity, and bounce leaving your skin looking and feeling youthful with a radiant lift from within. I LOVE how plump and supple my skin feels after just 2 weeks of using this product every evening. I can also see a huge difference in how much brighter my skin looks. Containing wild olive which helps to optimize the energy of skin cells helping to introduce the production of collagen I would recommend this range for anyone over the age of 35. If you normally avoid a serum as you’re not keen on an oily product this will be ideal. It leaves your skin soft and smooth without feeling sticky. Using both products combined I genuinely feel like I am giving my skin a spa facial.
Tri-Active Lift and Firm Moisturizer, £50.00
I don’t think it’s ever too early to get into a good routine with skincare and this moisturizer is the ideal place to start if you’re not wanting to use too many different products. Intensely nourishing this moisturizer boasts nutrient-rich Marine and plant actives for soft, supple, and plumped-looking skin. Hydrating yet nourishing it helps dull, sallow complexions and leaves your skin feeling super smooth and bright.
Each product in the Tri-Active collection contains a blend of three key components, aimed to nourish and calm the skin. Skin appears more radiant, less dull, and feels more supple and intensively nourished.
Would highly recommend this range for anyone looking to truly start their skincare journey with products that work. For me, not only does this range look stylish in your bathroom it’s a brand you can truly trust (just check out their reviews on their website). Although not the cheapest of skincare brands, you really do get what you pay for, and each item is high in volume so you know that it will last a good couple of months.
For me, you can’t put a price on good skincare and if you are wanting to avoid aesthetic treatments in later life getting yourself into a good routine with high-quality products is key to keeping that youthful plump looking skin, we all aim for.
