With CBD offering relief from everything from pain to acne, and even helping with sleep issues, the wellness industry is bustling with cannabidiol-infused products. And with hundreds of famous faces lining up to show their appreciation for this ‘miracle’ CBD supplement, we thought we’d take a look at 6 female celebrities who have shared their love for hemp over the last few years:
Kim Kardashian
Who can forget that infamous CBD-themed baby shower that Kim Kardashian threw back in 2018? Kim famously said:
“I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower. But I thought I’m freaking the f*ck out having a fourth kid… So everyone have a puff and put on some oil.”
Juggling a business, motherhood, a law degree – oh and being arguably one of the most famous women in the world, Kim K is understandably busy. When asked how she copes she said:
“How do I do it all? It is exhausting. I just say CBD. [laughs] But I do. It’s gotten me through a lot.”
“{I’m} not a weed smoker at all, but I got into CBD a few months ago. It’s saved my life. Even to sleep at night. I like the CBD gummies. I will just use a little bit and fall asleep [laughs]. I don’t think I would take a Xanax or an Ambien again.”
Alessandra Ambrosio
Victoria Secret model and absolute dream, Alessandra Ambrosio has been outspoken in her support of CBD for anxiety relief since back in 2017. She told journalists:
“The most important thing to do [to prep for the Victoria’s Secret Show] is to sleep eight hours the night before but it’s hard because the mind gets anxious, so I try CBD oil and I think it helps.”
Jennifer Aniston
Let’s face it, Jennifer Aniston could tell us to smear mud on our faces in pursuit of her ageless beauty and we’d do it. But luckily, one of her skincare secrets is the humble hemp leaf in the form of CBD face oil. Along with raving it’s skin-rejuvenating benefits, Jen said:
“[CBD] helps me with pain, stress and anxiety. It has all the benefits of marijuana without the high.”
Whoopi Goldberg
The iconic Whoopi isn’t wrong about much, and she’s a huge supporter of CBD use among middle-aged women. In the past she’s claimed to use CBD to relieve everything from menstrual cramps to menopausal discomfort, but more recently she have hailed her CBD vape pen to actively treat glaucoma. She said:
“Several years ago I gave up smoking cigarettes, and unfortunately that included rolled weed. Afterwards, my discomfort from glaucoma resurfaced. Then something important happened to me. My daughter gave me my first [CBD] vape pen, and I began to see it as the medicine it is.”
