Summer may nearly be over (hang on did we have one?) however festival season is still ongoing.
Did you read my last post on my festival survival tips?
Well I’m back to give some festival beauty inspiration. Because let’s get real. In this Instagram world we now all live-in festival makeup is almost as important as the music.
Give me all the glitter
Whether that be on your face, your body or even on your scalp there is a need for glitter at almost ANY festival.
Plait your hair into two and add some unicorn glitter down the middle of your parting for that on trend look. This is also great for hiding unwashed festival hair!

If you want to go more understated grab a pot of glitter and dab on your eyelids over any eyeshadow. Gypsy Shrine is my go to: thegypsyshrine.com

Face jewels
I don’t think there is ever a more relevant time to rock these face jewels than at festivals.
Whether you want to go full blown glam like I have done below, or just add a few gems under the eyes this look will really help you stand out from the crowd, and if you’re not great with make up these are a super easy way to complete your look.

I used these face jewels from Glamify: glamifybeauty.com
Headbands
Floral headbands never go out of style, they just get bigger and better especially in festival season. Add a pop of colour to any outfit by adding a headband to your hair. Keep your hair tousled and flowy for that extra bohemian look. And don’t be afraid to go BIG.

Not into makeup?
Put the focus over onto your hands. Rock some false nails, stack on the jewellery or go one better and add some temporary tattoos from the Rimmel collection, these are party and festival favourites: rimmellondon.com/en_gb/products/ink-me-collection

Paint that face
No better time to use those face paints we all have lurking in the back of the wardrobe than festival time! Go for a bright pop of neon to stay on trend for summer 2019.
If that’s a bit too much, use a bright eyeliner for that understated pop of colour. NYX have a great range of face paints and eyeliners: nyxcosmetics.co.uk and check out this Rainbow Face and Body paint from Boohoo.
Enjoy! xx
