Two weeks before lockdown I went for a drastic hair change. My hair was feeling tired, discoloured and I needed a really good chop, which I did and it felt so much healthier.
But what does every girl do when she gets her hair cut into a bob?
Yep.
I decided I wanted it to grow again.
I have luckily been gifted some fabulous products this month to help with my hair journey. Here are my honest reviews of the hair care products I have been trying.
Grow Gorgeous Repair Rescue Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask
Vegan friendly and free from any nasty parabens, sulphates, or silicones I was super excited to try this range that promises to cleanse and revitalize your hair and scalp.
Although my hair is in a much better condition now it has been chopped, I was keen to see if this would make a difference to the dryness of my hair. Which it has, I have been using the shampoo and conditioner twice weekly, incorporating the mask into my routine once a week and leaving on for 10 minutes.
My hair feels stronger, looks healthier which in turn is helping with the growth.
It may be a little pricier than some of the haircare ranges out there but I have noticed you do not need to use a lot of the product, especially the mask, a little goes a long way!
It also smells beautiful and leaves my hair silky smooth.

Khali Min Rescue Oil
I love an oil; I love it as part of my skincare regime and now I think I am hooked on using as part of my haircare regime also.
I have been using this oil every week, the day before I have been planning to wash my hair.
Made with macadamia, hibiscus, and jojoba oils it smells incredible and has definitely helped my hair feel much softer and glossy.
I have been applying a few drops to dry hair, mainly to the ends and leaving in until the next morning for a real deep nourished treat to my hair. It is also plant derived, vegan and cruelty free.
I have used for over a month and the bottle still doesn’t look touched; you only need a small amount in the palm of your hands to really see a difference.
My hair is naturally curly, and I have noticed this has helped my hair from being overly frizzy and I’ve even used a (very small) amount on the flyaways at the scalp.
You might be thinking an oil equals grease, but it does not leave my hair like that at all, it just feels very nourished and hydrated.
Add to your hair as a Sunday night ritual and I’m sure you will see the difference too!
Available from their website.
Overall I’m hoping the more I treat my hair and use these hair care products the quicker it will grow!
I will keep you updated.
