4 weeks I go I started to trial the Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Serum which promises to infuse your skin with intense hydration and long-lasting moisture.
With no artificial fragrances, vegan friendly, cruelty and alcohol free I did think…well what does it have in it?
It has two important ingredients for great skincare… Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5. The first to attract and retain 1000 times its own weight in water, keeping your skin super nourished and supple and the latter to help retain the moisture and help with the regeneration of skin cells.
I have enjoyed adding this serum into my daily routine, used of an evening before my moisturiser I have noticed how hydrated and plump my skin has felt. What I like about it is how fast absorbing it is. Sometimes serums can feel tacky and almost sticky on your skin. This one dissolves straight into the skin.
I will definitely be trying more from the Medik8 range. Their simple packaging and key ingredients are a major plus for me, and I like the idea of using their cleansers and toners alongside the serum to see if that has any more affect. My skin can be sensitive so the fact their products are oil free and fragrance free I know this would help to not clog my pores or irritate my skin is another major plus.
