I have been on the hunt for a serum for a while and have tried quite a few that have been a little disappointing. But I came across the famous Mila Simone Vitamin C Serum and I had to give it a whirl.
Why use a serum, I hear you ask?
There are so many benefits to adding a serum into your daily skincare routine, and if you don’t already, I insist you make this your next purchase!
Trust me when I say, serums are killer without the filler.
They work deeper into your skin than moisturizer alone and when used regularly it can leave your skin feeling firmer and smoother whilst helping to minimize pores and leave your skin more even and hydrated.
The latest product I have tried was very kindly gifted to me from Mila Simone.
Their latest product the Mila Simone Azzura Essence Vitamin C Serum comes in a handy 20ml bottle (always good to try a smaller bottle to see if the product is a good fit with your skin) is cruelty free (hurrah!) and vegan friendly. All major plus points with me.
But how did it fare with my skin and did it make a difference?
In a word, yes.
A major positive for me is the consistency, I hate serums that are sticky on your skin. This product however applies well to my face without leaving a tacky residue, it has a sweet smell almost like tangerines and felt lightweight enough to use under my makeup.
I have used this Mila Simone Vitamin C serum twice daily, in the morning as a primer under my makeup and at night and have noticed a difference in the firmness of my skin. My face has felt smoother and more hydrated, especially around the drier spots of my face such as my nose and mouth. Another positive, the serum is oil free which means your skin will absorb it in full without leaving any residue, which for my combination skin is vital.
One of the main ingredients is Hyaluronic Acid, now don’t be put off by the word acid when it comes to skincare, it is known for helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as alleviating any dry skin.
I will continue to include this serum in my skincare routine, if you try it let me know what you think.
Mila simone Vitamin C serum can be purchased direct from their website and amazon.
