As we all know I am a lover of a big, bold bushy eyebrow so it is handy that this look is currently in fashion, with models, makeup artists and us every day girls trying it out.
But that’s not the only reason that I love it, I think a bold eyebrow can transform a whole look, and even if you don’t want to wear makeup a full brow sometimes is all you need to look put together.
REFY Review
I was super keen to try out the REFY brow collection from influencer Jess Hunt as it has taken over my adverts on both Instagram and Twitter so I really wanted to see did it live up to the hype.
The kit, which is made up of three products (they can be purchased separately) are vegan and cruelty free and include an eyebrow pencil, pomade and a sculpting gel. Available in three shades, light medium and dark their packaging is also fully recyclable.
Tick, tick, tick right?
You don’t need to tell me twice, so I opted for the kit in the shade medium.
First impressions were good, I love the simplistic packaging and the fact I only waited around 3 days before it was delivered.
So how does it work?
Firstly, you need to start off with the brow sculpt, this product I feel like I am obsessed with using this alone! This brush is insane at coating the brows with just one pump. To achieve the Jess Hunt brow lamination, look this step is crucial to push your brows upwards and set them in place. This is your chance to achieve that super fluffy full brow look so don’t be afraid to go to town with this. Once you’re happy with the shape use the brush to flatten them down, they now won’t be moving anywhere!
Secondly, use the brow pomade. I love this product and you only need a small amount! One end had the pomade, the other end is the brush. Use tiny amounts to fill in any sparse areas on the brows, this will help to give the much fuller look to brows that may have been over plucked over the years! And is buildable so always start with less than you think you need and build it up. This also helps to add colour to the brows, which is great if you don’t like to use tint!
Now they are filled in and in place you can use the third and final product the brow pencil. Go easy with this pencil as the tip is so fine and really should only be used to add any fine hair like strokes. I tend to use this at the front of my brow to add the look of more fluffy hair!
Once that is all done, use the brush to brush through the whole brow.
The verdict?
LOVED these products, they’re so easy to use and you can achieve the most amazing brows in minutes!
The kit is available via their website for £40 and is worth every penny, stock up now whilst you can you won’t be disappointed!
