Fancy a weekend break in the exciting city of Liverpool? Look no further than the well-located Staycity Liverpool, Corn Exchange, the latest addition to fast-growing Staycity’s portfolio of aparthotels, now in 10 cities across Europe.
We were invited for a complimentary night in one of their fabulous studio apartments to the recently opened Staycity Liverpool Corn Exchange, just a short walk away is the Cavern Club, the Royal Liver building and other famous sights in the city.
The room came well-equipped, with kitchen with microwave, fridge, dishwasher and hob – so after a hectic day sightseeing you can put your feet up and eat and drink what you want, when you want it. Staycity’s apartments offer you more than just a bed and a kitchen – there’s high-speed broadband, a 40” flat screen TV, rainfall shower and a Handy smartphone to take out and about for free local calls.
You can buy a coffee, croissant or sandwich from the Staycafé, work out in the fitness room, or if you really feel the need there’s even somewhere to do your laundry! And with a 24-hour reception desk someone is always on-hand to help you find the best things to see and do in one of the UK’s best-loved cities.
With so many of Liverpool’s tempting bars and restaurants close by, we chose to stay over on a Friday so we could explore in the day time and then go back and get ready for dinner and cocktails without worrying about finding taxi’s home.
We went for a walk along the albert dock and through the Baltic Triangle, booked into Ghetto Golf for some afternoon fun. And in the evening we enjoyed some authentic Spanish Tapas at one of Liverpool’s best rated restaurants, Neon Jamon, followed by cocktails at Berry streets secret bar (Berry and Rye) and Liberte Liverpool (which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel).
Our 8th floor apartment had an amazing view of Liverpool, with big windows in both the living space and bedroom, the views of the City lights at night was incredible. In the morning we checked out and had breakfast at the Manhattan Bar and Grill, (which is just across the road from the car park).
After a fabulous day and night at the Staycity Aparthotels, I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend break in Liverpool or even just for a night out in the City!
So why not book a mini-break, discover the delights Liverpool has to offer and let Staycity do the rest.
