In case you are unfamiliar with SuperThings, they are everyday objects that are brought to life as super heroes and super villains. They live in Kaboom city and this is where all of their adventures take place. There are over 80 colourful characters to collect and they now have their very own rescue truck that has more than 8 play actions that are sure to keep your little ones occupied for hours!!
Review of the SuperThings rescue truck
Let your little ones come to the rescue this Christmas as they zoom around Kaboom city scooping up the supervillains and keeping them locked inside the prison which is situated inside the truck! There’s a detachable flying rescue ship that will allow them to reach the highest heights and keep Kaboom city under control and the baddies at bay.
Rosalie and Remmy have had hours of fun with this 2-in-1 vehicle which allows siblings to play together as part of a superhero team, alongside the included exclusive Kazoom kid figure and their newest SuperThing!
The Rivals of Kaboom rescue truck has both lights and sounds that really allow children to be fully immersed into the super rescue experience!
It requires 2x AAA batteries which were included! It also has a number of features including an extendable ladder that gives more aerial reach allowing your little superheroes to climb to difficult positions and get rid of the baddies, restoring peace in Kaboom city.
This super rescue truck is ready for every situation from rescue missions to city fires. The girls absolutely love the water hose feature, just press the buttons and the water shoots out to put out the fires. They find it hilarious seeing how far the water can go.
Our favourite thing about the SuperThings rescue truck
The truck is perfect for any Super Things fan as they can use all their existing Super Things which can be carried in the vehicle whilst they recover using the Kazoom regenerator. There is space for 9 superthings in the rescue truck and you can also fit an extra one in the rescue ship.
There is also space for a number of Kazoom kids within the rescue truck and rescue ship combined. But they must remember that if the super villains have a plan to escape then they can catapult out of the prison and be free once more. The girls love this feature, with one of them being the hero and one the villain they have transformed the room into Kaboom city and chased each other round, the giggles don’t stop!
Overall we were really impressed with this toy and we think it would be perfect for its recommended age of 3+. Rosalie who is 3 is able to use all the features independently and is happy to play on her own or with her little sister. Remmy has struggled a bit with some features as they can be a bit fiddly but she is only 2 and so below the recommended age. We think that the range of play actions will appeal to older children too so it’s the perfect gift for siblings!
