I know they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but when the cover is as BEAUTIFUL as the new Fusion Collection from Ted Baker it’s hard not to judge on appearances.
Ted Baker is one of the fastest growing leading lifestyle brands in the UK and has always been known for luxurious products whether it’s fashion, accessories, fragrance or skincare the name really does speak for itself.
I was lucky enough to receive the new Fusion Collection ahead of it’s release this Summer in Boots stores and online.
* As always I love to try the products for myself and really get a feel for the collection before I review, so although gifted all thoughts are my own.
The brand new Fusion Collection has arrived to turn those bathing routines into beautifying rituals and as always the focus on quality is noticeable straight away. The packaging is super luxurious and looks really high quality and to be honest I wouldn’t expect anything less from the brand. One of the things I love about Ted Baker is how much time and detail is spent on the packaging, it always looks high-end, and this collection is no different.
The collection is broken down into 3 different scents
- Violet and Bergamot – inspired by notes of delicate florals and soft berries for a refreshing twist.
- Raspberry and Orange Blossom – a collaboration of raspberry and citrus notes that will truly awaken your senses
- Rose and Cassis – rich, velvety notes of rose combined with alluring cassis. A fresh take on the traditional.
With body sprays, washes, hand creams, body butters, scrubs and bubble bath there really is something for everyone and if you’re already thinking ahead to Christmas there are some amazing gift sets available already with prices starting from just £10 (I know these will be snapped up super quickly so purchase whilst you can!).
So, what did I think of the different ranges?
On first inspection, I was in awe at how amazing the aesthetics of this range is! But not just that they all smell so beautiful! My favourite being the raspberry and orange, super fruity and long-lasting after using the body wash and the body lotion I could smell it on me ALL DAY and so many people commented asking what perfume I was wearing. I love telling people that what they’re actually smelling is just my body lotion! (who needs expensive perfume hey!)
Here are just a few of my absolute must-haves from the collection!
Body lotion – £8.50 for 250ml (available in the Raspberry and Orange and the Violet Bergamot)
Super lightweight this body lotion sinks into the skin easily and leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. The scent really does last all day and it feels super luxurious on the skin.
Body spray – £8.50 for 150ml (available in all three scents)
I am obsessed with all three of these scents! I am renowned for spraying continuously throughout the day yet with these there was less need for a top up as the scents lingered for a good couple of hours. All three-feel super lightweight on the skin and smell almost like perfumes. If you’re into a light refreshing spray, I would suggest trying the Violet and Bergamot, if you like a heavier richer scent, I would suggest the Rose and Cassis.
Body wash – £8.50 for 200ml (available in all three scents)
All three are to die for! My favorite being the raspberry and orange, this was perfect to revive and radiate the skin. Apply directly to the skin it builds up a fresh lather and leaves your skin feeling clean and nourished.
If you prefer a richer body wash opt for the rose and cassis as this wash is creamier and more indulgent.
My favourite thing about all three was not only the scent that is left on the skin but how soft and hydrated I felt after use.
Sugar Scrub – £11 for 300ml (available in the Violet and Bergamot range)
This by far was one of my favourite products. For someone who wears a fake tan I am always looking for a good scrub to not only treat my skin but to remove any false tan and this works like an absolute dream without being super messy as some scrubs can be. This exfoliating scrub removes dead skin cells to revive, soften and smooth even super dehydrated skin. If you don’t have a scrub as part of your weekly skincare regime you need to invest as the difference in your skin upon use will be life-changing!
Overall, there was not one product I didn’t love. All products smelt beautiful and left my skin looking and feeling so much better than before. If you’re looking to invest in some new products that not only do the job but look pretty perfect on your bathroom shelves, I would highly recommend the Fusion Collection.
