That’so Skincare: Vegan Beauty Review

Now that summer is in full swing and with holidays not easily accessible my mind has well and truly been on fake tan. Because let’s face it, no one wants to bake their skin these days.

The following products have been gifted, but as always my thoughts and opinions are my own and based on testing the products out for myself and ensuring I give a completely unbiased review.

That’so skincare, manufactured in Italy offer vegan and paraben free skincare and suntan products. Having considered every formula possible, they offer their tanning products in mousses, sprays and creams in a range of different shades. So there really is something for everyone.

I loved the look of the packaging and was keen to try the products for myself to see how they compared to ones I have previously used.

So, let’s talk prep.

To get the most out of any tanning routine you need to prep your skin before hand for the best results. I tried out the Tan Extender Scrub, a product I would never have thought to try before but it made such a difference to not only my tan application but my overall tan experience!

An exfoliating clear gel with extracts of lime and cucumber, I used this pre tanning to remove any dead skin cells or dry patches. I loved how I could see the effects after just one use my skin felt super soft and hydrated and my skin looked brighter. I used this the night before I wanted to tan and applied in the shower to wet skin. If you are worried about how your tan will look or if you’re a newbie to fake tanning I would recommend using this product beforehand as it made the whole experience much easier.

If you’re looking for a more subtle tan, I would suggest trying out the Gradual tanning moisturizer, this gives a natural glow to the skin without feeling like you have anything on your skin at all. It gradually develops a beautiful tan and is suitable for all skin types. It contains Vitamin E which helps to keep the skin soft and hydrated. This is the ideal tan for daily use.

One of my favourite products I tried was the Nature Tan Intense Bronze which comes in the form of a tanning spray which gives an immediate colour to the skin, ideal for adding to my legs when the sun does come out! The tan continues to develop over 3-4 hours. The formula is completely free of erythrulose and parabens which can cause irritation for sensitive skin.

Don’t be put off by the word intense, I loved this spray as it didn’t go too dark, it gave more of a golden glow to the skin which I loved. As this is a spray it was super easy to use and there is no need to rub into the skin, just leave to dry.

My absolute favourite product I tried is the Glowy Gold body shimmer, incased in a gorgeous gold bottle this looks beautiful amongst my skincare products. A luxurious dry oil that promises to illuminate the skin whilst giving a shimmer effect I knew instantly this would be a go too for me. Added on top of the skin, its super easy to apply without feeling messy. I apply directly to the skin and then use a kabuki brush in circular motions just to enhance the overall effect. Super lightweight texture it is enriched with hemp oil and leaves my skin feeling super glowy and illuminated without feeling like I have anything on at all. Used across my decolletage and shoulders this is ideal as an add on and would look beautiful on holiday.

Overall, I was hugely impressed with all the products I tried and will definitely be making the switch to this brand going forward.
