Whether you’re loved up this Valentines or spending it with your ‘Galentines’ there is never a time quite like February 14th to rock a super glam makeup look.
From a pink washed gloss to a smoky eye I’ve collated some of my favourite products to make your Valentines night as glam as possible.
Rock a red lip
No better time to whip out the red lipstick than Valentines Day, there is just something about matching your pout to some red roses.
Try Charlotte Tilbury in ‘Love Bite’ for that classic pillar box red.
Golden and Glowy glam makeup
My favourite go to look at any time of year, but also ideal if you’re adding colour to your lips.
Keep your skin glowy and bronzed by using Loreal Glow Mon Armour Highlighting Drops in shade Bellini either under your foundation or wear on bare skin, highlighting your cheekbones and brow bones.
Sweep some of MAC Cosmetics bronzer in shade Give Me Sun over your cheeks or where the sun naturally hits your face to add some warmth to your face.
Smoky Eye
Whether you prefer a bronzed smoky eye or a sleet grey, make sure you prime your eyes first as this helps hold the pigment in place without creasing. My favourite eyeshadow base is from P Louise and is available to purchase online or in any Morphe store from £9.99. If you don’t want to spend too much a concealer does the job just as well.
Once primed use up to three different shades of the colour you wish to use and add to the eye socket using the darkest colour first working up to the lighter shade.
Use glam makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the brave eyeshadow palette for a full range of matte, glimmer and sheen eyeshadows.
Top Tip: Always use a clean fluffy eyeshadow brush to buff around the edges to avoid any harsh lines.
Glossy Lips
If you’re wanting to stay away from a red lipstick and prefer to keep your look softer opt for a pink washed gloss over your lips with a nude lipliner to keep in place.
My favourite ultra-glossy glosses are from Peaches and Cream and can be bought online for £7 in shades Melrose and Bambi.
Happy Valentines Day <3 and tag me in any looks you create xx
