Why we should all stop using face wipes

Guilty of still using face wipes?

…you’re not alone in that.

Yes, they’re convenient but not only are these pesky wipes causing a lot of damage to the world we are living in; clogging our sewers, filling up the oceans (as well as our toilets), they’re also super bad for the skin.

Yet they’re popular because let’s be honest, we can be lazy when it comes to skincare, and not only are they convenient, they are super cheap.

So, if you are still a lover of a face wipe and use them on the regular have a read of a few facts below.

Face wipes don’t clean your face

If you’re wondering why you’re still suffering from breakouts and you use wipes, this will be why.

Wipes do not work as hard or as deeply as a cleanser and toner and simply move the grime and oil around your face.

They make you age a lot quicker 

Not only do they not remove your make up, they also make your skin irritated and dehydrated which after time will age your skin and cause fine lines to appear quicker.

Without an effective cleansing routine your skin will look tired, dull and dehydrated.

They cause breakouts and irritation

I mean I’m not surprised seen as they don’t actually clean your skin at all, face wipes are harsh on your skin as they strip it off all-natural oils.

The continuous rubbing of your skin will also cause redness and irritation similar to if you exfoliated your face every day (which you definitely shouldn’t do!)
